Rams Corner Brown Suspended First Four Games

Rams corner Fakhir Brown has been suspended for the first four games of the 2007Brown season for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy. Brown’s sit down will start on August 31st, and he can return to the team on October 1st. The Rams will play their fourth game of the season vs the Dallas Cowboys on September 30th. For now, he is allowed to participate in preseason games as well as practices.

The 29-year-old Brown started in 14 games last season for St.Louis. He had a team high three picks and one sack. After starting his career with the Saints, Brown signed a 5-year deal with the Rams back in 2006. Brown’s agent, Ted Marchibroda, didn’t return a phone call seeking comment on the suspension.
