The news is good today on linebacker LaVar Arrington, who was in a motocycle crash on Monday that put him in serious condition in a hospital with multiple injuries. Arrington’s agent, Carl Poston, told the Washington Post that Arrington is in “good spirits and stable condition” but does remain under observation at Prince George’s Hospital Center.
Arrington has no infections and his vital signs are normal according to the report. He did suffer a fractured forearm, but the reports that he broke his leg are false. His leg though is in a case because of severe laceration. The former Redskin and Giant LB was cited for two misdemeanors in the accident, including failing to have a license endorsement to operate a motorcycle.
The free agent linebacker at the time of the accident was still looking to play in 2007, as he was trying to comeback from a torn Achilles’ tendon that he suffered while playing with the Giants in early 2006. His NFL career now is clearly on the back burner after the accident which took place on Monda
