Thursday Night NFL Week 15 Prediction

San Francisco at Seattle – The Hakws are in firm control of the NFC West, but clearly are not the team that they were a season ago. Injuries have a lot to do with that, as both Matt Hassleback and Shaun Alexander have been hurt, and some free agency losses have hurt Seattle as well. Tonight vs the 49’ers there will be a little bit of revenge on the minds of Seattle, who fell in San Fran 20-14 on November 19th. In that game, Frank Gore ran for 212 yards, and you can bet that the Hawks defense will be looking for lots of him tonight. Seattle leading wide out Darrell Jackson will miss the game with a toe injury, and that will put more pressure on Alexander to have a big night on the ground. The 49’ers at 5-8 allow 123 yards per game rushing, and I think tonight it’s Alexander’s turn to get it going and that will be enough to give Seattle a win and the NFC West title. Seattle 24 San Francisco 17

  1. Rockwell says:

Agreed. It would be a big surprise if the 49ers got the Seahawks to go down twice.

(By the way, all of my picks are up as usual in “The Office Pool”.)

    Have a great week!
