Favre and Packers Headed for 06 Disaster

I for one am already sick and tired of all the hoopla surrounding the Green Bay Packers and even more so, around all the talk about Brett Favre.  Let me know when Favre finally makes some plays that leads to a Packers WIN, instead of throwing 29 interceptions like last season.  Let’s quickly remind all the cheeseheads that despite their golden boy comign back, the team was still 4-12 a year ago, 3-5 at home and 1-7 on the road.  Favre is making noise that this team has as much talent that he has ever been on, but all that sounds like is a desperate player trying to get his team motivated.

Gone are the Green Bay days of Reggie White, Sterling Sharpe, Dorsey Levens and other impact players.  The team couldn’t even hold on to Javon Walker, and basically he was so unhappy that they decided to ship him out for next to nothing.  Favre had better hope that he and the team comes out strong, and that opening day against the Bears does not turn into a disaster.  If so, the cheese in GB will rot rather quickly in 2006
